He claims to be shunned and always stands at the periphery of town events: watching everyone, missing nothing. ![]() He claims to be passing through and will be "moving on soon", but has never left the valley in many years. He always hints at secrets he has learned. We will banish him to the depths of Skull Cavern, and begin a new age where all who dwell in Stardew Valley can live their lives to the fullest, free from oppression, and free and the evil man that is Mayor Lewis.Ĭlearly Linus is an agent of Lewis' secret police, maintaining his vile stranglehold on the town! Just look at the evidence: With the wizard's magic on my side, along with my swordsmanship, Lewis can be defeated. That is why when Lewis is dead, Shane will be my second in command once we seize power. Shane sees through Lewis's lies and corruption, and knows that our mayor is not the person he claims to be. He understands this struggle, having to work for this corporate giant that Lewis has brought into our world day after day. There is only one person that truly understands this struggle: Shane. But I've tried telling the other people, but sadly they won't listen. But Lewis, I see through your foolish events and celebrations, I know of your horrible crimes. This of course means that Lewis has tricked the town into worshiping him as a god. You know the god in Stardew Valley, Yoba? Well, turns out that Yoba is Dwarvish for Lewis. Worst of all, this scumbag has all the townsfolk brainwashed to think he's a nice guy and friend to all. And I'd bet all the stardrops in the game old Lewis killed my grandpa too. The wizard, who is our only hope, has been banished to the depths of the forest. While that may be seen as kind and helpful to her, I know that what Lewis is really trying to do is kill me by putting the most drunk person in town behind a steering wheel. Instead of helping Pam fix her alcohol addiction, he gives her a job as bus driver. He relies on me, a humble farmer, to carry every aspect of the economy on my back, forcing me to become a fisher and a miner just so that people like Clint and Willy can pay their taxes. He wastes the town's money by throwing away entire iron and quartz bars. We could have had everything, from the quarry to the bus, fixed, but no, Lewis uses the town funds to build a SOLID GOLD statue of himself. Lewis has relied on forest fairies, and even in some cases a private corporation to fix the town's many issues while he builds gold statues and does anal with Marnie. Finally, and most importantly, is Lewis's corrupt and evil abuse of power. Maybe that's a good thing." Well, Demetrius, that's definitely not a good thing, that's the doing of our corrupt leader. ![]() Demetrius once said, "We're insulated from the rest of the world here in Stardew Valley. ![]() Have you noticed nobody has any cars or other means of transportation? (except for Robin but Lewis put nails in their tires) And of course, the bus is conveniently broken so no one can escape to Calico Desert. The second point I'd like to bring up is the lack of transportation. That alone should be enough reason to revolt, but alas, there is much more. Lewis claims that he hasn't had any opposition when really he has just brutally murdered his political opponents and called them suicides. Eight years I've been living under his harsh rule, and we haven't had a single election. Mayor Lewis is not the person he claims to be, in fact he is a ruthless dictator who rules Pelican Town with an iron fist. He comes off as a friendly guy, and is in general pretty popular with the townspeople. Everyone in the Pelican Town loves Mayor Lewis.
